The collection "Urban Samourai" is inspired by the armour of the Samourai warriors, to create clothes which protect us from the urban world. The detail which particulary interests me in this armour is the dressing process : The multiple layering, the mobility of the differents elements, the fabrics and the global aesthetic. Through the rigidity of the shapes, pleats, origami folding and transparencies are revealed to us which either uncover or hide the body, and reveal the subtility, the seatness and fragility of the individuals beneath theirs shells. The garment is a way to communicate, and dress up the individuals socially. This collection has been conceived to protect us from the urban and induvidualist world of today's society. behind the coldness and non communication of the individuals, is hidden warmth, fragility and beauty.
